Two new short stories

Sorry... not telling much about my life nowadays... but, instead, I'm letting you all delve into my psyche by publishing heaps on short stories on my blog. Two new ones were written and posted today.

I was very productive today... finally caught up on a lot of reading for uni... but still managed to miss out on half my fiction writing lecture. The moment came when Dr. Chandani Lokuge was talking about round charachters. My notes say:

Round charachter -> test: Is he/she capable of surprising in a convincing way

[after this my brain started working and I couldn't stop writing my ideas down]

-Get to the very essence of the charachter (the core of a person that doesn't change regardless of the life-situation, etc. -> i.e., [name omitted]) Main charachter:(from little boy who wants to be a pilot->explores bisexuality, almost raped by uncle->drugs->religion. Core remains the same, he needs somebody to look after him, never touching his inner core himself because he sees himself as the cool roles he takes on and meticulously struggles to fill them to perfection, absorbing any ideas that come his way like a sponge. Father=mysogenous iron fist, homosexual and deeply orthodox. Mother= Seemingly naive, yet troubled inside. Unsure what to do with two sons after divorce. Feels guilt. Feels cheated by 20 years of false marriage. Brother: One night stand with narrator. Feels estranged from little brother and blames narrator who begins to date main character. Main charachter's best friend, female: Paranoid friend, wants to be central, resents intrusion of narrator. Point of view=first person.

there are more notes, but they only make sense to me, I think...
