Thoroughly unproductive day
I was supposed be awake at nine a.m. today to do a little answering to Echo sponsors. And yes. I did wake up at nine. But I also rolled over and went back to sleep, thus receiving a call from Tenzing at 12:50. "I'm waiting".
Oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit.
Well. I guess I missed that then. That meant I ran to the bank on my own and fumbled about asking for details of the legendary echo account... which, should it exist, does not due so under the NLC name. GREAT! So who's personal accounts did all that money go into, assuming, ofcourse, that the account exists to start off with?
So yes, early afternoon was spent in a wild goose chase, as the expression goes, although I decided that I may as well milk NUS for what it's worth for now (I'll repay them later when I have access to my NLC accounts) and get their purchase orders for it instead... Sharon brought a couple over and we had lunch together at Melbourne Central. She was apparently a cat in her previous life, whereas I think I may have been a wolf, because I used to get dreams with runes and packs of wolves in them... erm... maybe I was a witch then? That would explain the karmic debt the fortune teller told me I have in excess...
Sherin - former president of VUT ISA
I bumped into Sherin on the tram whilst shopping around for a wall calendar to stick all my academic commitments on (I finally found a calendar/whiteboard from officeworks that I like)... then went all the way to Chapel street to see Ginny who had my jacket for some odd reason... then, back into town to see the one person who can make my day end on a happy note no matter what - you know who you are!
Anyhow, it's high time I started checking out my legal books, as I still haven't done that, and the list of readings I have to force upon myself is looking quite disheartening. I'll most probably be blogging here again in 8 hours time complaining that I have to go to uni but I haven't slept yet. Just wait and see.
